Hogwarts Uniform Color Swatch

EDIT: If you download you will get a ZIP file with both the image and an .ASE file. ASE is an Adobe Swatch Exchange file which you can then load into most Adobe applications such as Photoshop and Illustrator.


I was EXTREMELY irritated to be unable to find a good vector of the color swatches of the Hogwarts houses.

I have made my own and anyone can use it, feel FREE.

I have three alternates to each color due to the HUGE variety in merchandise and artwork.

I tried to pick shades I felt were most indicative of the classic 'look'.

You could also use the various alternatives as shading colors.

Hufflepuff's colors are considered yellow and black however in careful pixel analysis of the merchandise its more of a deep honey color and a brownish black.

Slytherin is classic Green and Silver. But the green often doesnt actually match the color on the crest (weird) in the merchandise. The last color in the green matches the crest.

Ravenclaw gave me the most trouble because its such a rich blue that is really created through shading. I did NOT go with Blue and Bronze because I am referencing the movie colors. I find the color combination of Blue and bronze to be quite repellent.

Gryffindor Gold irritates me.
